The Paper Lion opened as a retail stationery and invitation store in 1997 in McKinney, Texas, just north of Dallas. It is not a chain or a franchise, but one of a kind, owned and operated by two long-time local residents. The retail store sells and prints invitations and other items from many different companies, the best the industry has to offer. Our staff is experienced and provides superior customer service. However, we have chosen to put on our e-commerce site only the custom designs we have created. For years we have called these our "Paper Lion Specials". You will not find these anywhere else.
