Scot & Kathy Goodwin opened Taste of Home and the antique shop Almost Home in 1999. After selling Almost Home in early 2008, we purchased and renovated this great little house we are currently occupying. The restaurant opened on June 16, 2008. Taste of Home went from a “lunch only” restaurant with seven employees to a “full service” restaurant open seven days a week with twenty-nine employees. What an amazing journey. What a testament to God's grace. We’re looking forward to many years of continued service to the community.
Love the Sampler!! My fav is the half Chicken Sandwich with Baked Potato Soup and the mixed fresh fruit!! YUM

I cant tell you how much we LOVE the totally fresh, cooked when you order them, chips and seriously perfect salsa!!
