Snuffer's on Lower Greenville Ave. in Dallas, TX is the original location. Opened by Pat Snuffer in 1978, the original restaurant consisted of a small one-room space that seated 55 customers. The room was furnished with the tables and booths Pat made himself. Similarly, the interior was constructed by Pat and three helpers. It wasn't that he was such a great carpenter, he just didn't have the money to hire professionals. It was truly a labor of love, reflecting the commitment to hands-on involvement that exists today. The original tables and booths are still used in the original "Front Room".
