The Fade Shop

The Fade Shop was a dream that started in 1996 while Ozell Graham was deployed with the US Army. His faith in God, dedication, and strong work ethic gave him the determination to make his dream a reality. After 9 long years of honor, loyalty, integrity and respect to the trade, The Fade Shop opened in Dallas, Texas, August 9, 2005.

Due to overwhelming success and customer demand, The Fade Shop 2, located in McKinney, Texas opened its doors March 18, 2008.

Satisfied customers, word of mouth, and high profile clients led to The Fade Shop being nominated nationally for actor/comedian Steve Harvey Hoodie Awards for 4 consecutive years (2007, 2008, 2009,2010). The Fade Shop walked away with the prestigious title of #1 in the nation in 2008. In 2009 the blessing continued to roll in for The Fade Shop, as they won the Dallas Ford Urban "Flex Your Style" Best Barbershop Competition, and was featured on the Style Network Hit TV Show "Split Ends." 2010 Addison Magazine Readers Choice Award Winner "Favorite Barbershop and Peagus News 2010 DFW Ultimate Best Barbershop!

The Fade Shop is actively involved in the community, with events such as the "Cuts for Kids" benefiting kids in the North Texas area, providing haircuts and school supplies, In conjunction with the Josh Howard Foundation and Roy Williams Safety Net Foundation benefiting single mothers, The Steve Harvey Foundation Father's Day Mentoring Weekend, and the Dallas Housing Authority.

From the beginning, Ozell Graham, owner of The Fade Shop, wanted not just to be a stylist, but wanted to create a brand. That brand is what we now call "The Fade Shop."

Today, The Fade Shop is an elite establishment hosting top of the line barbers and hairstylist. They function not only as barbers and stylist, but as DFW's premier hair consultants. They understand the "art" of doing hair. Their focus is not exclusively on a basic haircut and style, but also on image consultation - enhancing what others have only maintained. Their consultants are highly educated, licensed, and well informed about hairstyles and hair maintenance as it relates to facial shapes, individual personalities, celebrity trends, and other factors that make a beauty statement.
