Angelo's atmosphere, that of an inviting hunting lodge filled with good friends, has received nearly as much mention as their world-famous barbecue. Sawdust covered floors until 1979 when the Health Department made a clean sweep of that timeworn barbecue restaurant tradition. However, familiar beasts from bears to buffalos and stringers of bass, (thanks to the hunting and fishing skills of the George clan), still greet visitors daily.

Always has been the best, always will be the best - Sonny's runs a close second though! Cold beer, hot sausage, lean brisket.
